To begin your quest, head to the Mountain Shrine, located north of Checkpoint Rest Town. Follow the road north until you reach the Ancient Battlefield, where you’ll encounter an NPC named Oscar. While completing Oscar’s quest, “Told to Rest”, is not mandatory, it is worth tackling as you journey towards solving the riddles of the Sphinx.
Venture into the ancient battlefield and beyond, navigating through the treacherous Worldsend Cavern, filled with wraiths lurking in its depths. Defeat the lone Cyclops and climb the ledges of the cliff edge until you reach the Mountain Shrine, where the Sphinx waits.
For quick travel, consider placing a Portcrystal at the Mountain Shrine, allowing you to easily access it when returning to the area during your adventure.
