In a highly anticipated musical collaboration, rapper Future and record producer Metro Boomin have united to drop his latest studio album, “We Don’t Trust You.” Released on March 22, 2024 under Freebandz, Boominati Worldwide, Epic Records and Republic Records, the album is set to rock.

The album includes surprise guest appearances from legends like Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd, and Rick Ross, adding extra spice to the already hot track.

The journey of this album started long ago when Metro Boomin was in high school. Initially sending beats to rapper Propan, who was collaborating with Future at the time, Metro’s talent caught Future’s attention. Their creative synergy was evident from the beginning, with hits such as “Karate Chop” marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership.

Metro’s production prowess continued to shape Future’s sound, producing chart-toppers such as “Mask Off,” “Thought It Was a Drought,” “Jumpman” with Drake and “Low Life” featuring The Weeknd, Which dominated the Billboard Hot 100 between 2013 and 2013. And 2017.

However, fans were left wondering why Metro did not have a producer credit on Future’s previous album, “I Never Liked You”. In an interview with Ebro Darden and later with Flaunt Magazine, Metro revealed their intention to save their collaborative efforts for a dedicated project.

The road to releasing “We Don’t Trust You” was not without obstacles. Metro acknowledged the loss of three musical instruments due to a power outage in August 2023, causing delays that disappointed artists and fans alike. To add fuel to the fire, Metro announced on Twitter in January 2024 that he would not cut his hair or shave until the album was completed – a promise he was determined to keep.

Ultimately, after much anticipation, Future and Metro released a teaser trailer on March 8, 2024, revealing the album’s title and not one but two release dates. As the excitement reached its peak, a second teaser trailer arrived, unveiling the tracklist just a day before the album’s official release.

With “We Don’t Trust You”, Future and Metro Boomin invite listeners into their world of sonic innovation and undeniable chemistry, proving once again why they are a force to be reckoned with in the music industry.
