Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson are teaming up for an epic summer adventure on the annual Outlaw Music Festival Tour, featuring 26 shows. The first phase will include Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, and the second phase will include John Mellencamp. Additional talent such as Billy Strings, Brittany Spencer, Celis and Southern Avenue will join them at various stops. The tour begins on June 21 in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Nelson expressed his excitement, saying, “This year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this line-up of legendary artists. I’m excited to be back on the road with my family and friends again.” “Excited to play my favorite music for my favorite fans.”

While Dylan attended the Outlaw Festival for a short time in 2017, this is the first time he is participating in the entire tour. Dylan and Nelson’s friendship spans decades, including memorable collaborations such as co-writing the song “Heartland” in 1993. Dylan praised Nelson, saying, “[Willie] is like a philosophical poet. He gets to the heart of it quickly. His guitar playing is amazing. In my book, he’s at the top.

This summer reunion is reminiscent of their joint venture in 2004 and 2009, playing in minor league baseball parks across the United States. Dylan rarely shares the stage, making this collaboration a rare treat for fans. The prospect of seeing Dylan, Nelson, Plant and Cross together for some iconic songs adds to the excitement. Don’t miss this legendary musical journey
